Hasblady Guzman
Owner – Advanced Stylist
With over 30 years of extensive experience in the beauty industry, Hasblady comes from a long line of hairdressers – her mother, aunt and brother all share her deep love of great hair.
She relocated to the US from Bogota, Colombia in 1982 and quickly opened her extremely successful salon, Renaissance Hair Studio, at 21 years old. In 2002, she expanded by opening a second salon, Bokaos Aveda Pasadena- the recipient of immediate rave reviews- and eventually a third location followed in Glendale in 2008. In 2009, she moved all three businesses to one, beautiful loft-esque location in the heart of Old Town Pasadena.
Hasblady’s education has been ceaseless; she has always continued to learn and expand her knowledge with advanced training from the likes of Vidal Sassoon in London, Toni and Guy in Chicago, Arrojo in New York, Fekkai in Los Angeles and Carsten Wilms. She is also certified for Hairdreams VOLUME+ MICROLINES, and is currently actively pursuing education in bridal make up artistry and airbrush techniques with make up giant MAC Cosmetics.
She has worked with many celebrity clients for print and television projects, and has a special love for the styling, extensions and updos that feed her creative soul. An expert bridal stylist, Hasblady is renowned for her delicate and feminine updos and styling.
Alfred Guzman
Master Stylist
Alfred began his career in beauty at the age of 18, almost 25 years ago. He started working alongside his sister after beauty school and they have been a dynamic duo ever since. He has expansive education with Aveda, Vidal Sassoon in London, Arrojo in New York, Toni and Guy and Carsten Wilms. With a vast clientele, Alfred is in high demand and his clients always leave feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Suzi
Master Stylist
Suzi hasn’t aged in 25 years: she is our resident vampire. Suzi truly is a master at her craft through advancing her education and years of experience. She has trained in London, New York, and San Francisco with Redken, Vidal Sassoon, Orojo and Aveda. Suzi’s honesty and loyalty are unfounded, making her a treasure here at Bokaos Aveda.
Andrew
Master Cut Stylist
Andrew came to us from the Ukraine, having been an educator at Vidal Sassoon with decades of experience. His overall technical skill and eye for balance led him to specialize in cutting, though we have no doubt, if he ever pursued the life of a colorist he would master that as well.
Aly
Master Stylist
Aly grew up being creative, making various kinds of yarn bracelets which taught her all the intricate braiding techniques she uses today. Aly loves doing makeup and is a Certified Makeup artist from Ruby Make-up Academy. She received her cosmetology certification from Paul Mitchell and to further her hair education has attended classes at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica.

Advanced Stylist
Nicole’s creative artistic side gives her a confident eye for transforming her clients looks into something uniquely their own. With her exceptional attention to detail and passion for hair, Nicole is the go-to-girl for any classic look with a little bit of edge. She uses 15 years of intense training to achieve classic effortless looks. She continues to grow in this industry with ongoing education that keeps her updated on the latest trends.
Tawny
Stylist Level 1
From a young age she loved doing her friends hair and make-up for various occasions, this led to her dream career of hairstyling and current standing of 6 years behind the chair. Guy Tang and Sam Villa Youtube videos began shaping Tawny as a stylist and continue to do so today as she strives to learn and advance within the industry. She is Bellami hair extension certified and has experience with Paul Mitchell and Aveda.

She loves making people feel good about themselves and is dedicated to helping her clients look and feel their best. Jules thrives on the opportunity to connect with others, offering both great hair and a comforting, uplifting experience. Her warm energy and commitment to care make every appointment special.

Angélica is a multifaceted hairdresser with two decades of experience. She can do the most beautiful blondes & and georgeuos bright colors and precise bobs that would make Vidal Sasson proud.
Victoria “Tori” Macedo
Level 2 Hair Stylist
Victoria is a talented Level 2 Hair Stylist with 6 years of experience in the hair industry. She loves working with hair because it allows her to express her creativity and feels like a true passion rather than a job. Victoria firmly believes that when you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. She is also deeply committed to giving back to her community, making each client feel beautiful while contributing positively to those around her.
Sophie Serrao
Level 1 Hair Stylist
Sophie is a passionate Level 1 Hair Stylist with one year of experience. She loves doing hair because it gives her the opportunity to connect with people and be around others, making every appointment enjoyable. A true team player, Sophie brings a positive attitude to everything she does and is always ready to collaborate and learn. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her a valuable asset to the team.
MODEL APPLICATIONS
Bokãos Aveda is seeking out professional models for photo shoots year-round. We invite all models to apply, no matter their length of experience. We aim to provide our models with the utmost amount of comfort and creative freedom during our shoots. This is a collaboration above all else.
Models will receive complimentary drinks and meals when shooting on location in addition to their pay.
